Wood Pellet Furnace/Boiler incentives average $5,000 and go up to $9,000 off new systems.
Rebates are for new, high-efficiency wood pellet boilers and furnaces utilized as primary central heating systems and are intended to reduce fossil fuel usage (e.g., oil, propane, kerosene). This rebate is valid for new equipment purchased and installed before December 31, 2017.
With Wood Pellet Heating, you are choosing a renewable, sustainable, and efficient option that has incentives that average $5,000 off of a new Wood Pellet Boiler system through 12/31/17. Here's the incentives break down: The Clean Energy Development Fund (CEDF) incentive amount of $2,500, the Efficiency Vermont incentive amount of $2,000, totaling $4,500. The CEDF incentive includes a Thermal Efficiency Adder of $500.

Vermont Model Neighborhood Project - Modern Wood Heat A.K.A. Wood Pellets
The Vermont Model Neighborhood Project is providing incentives to building owners in the Northeast Kingdom to install high efficiency wood pellet boilers. The program is available to homes and non-residential buildings across the Northeast Kingdom, with special emphasis on farm- and forest-related businesses. Numerous homeowners and the Burke Town School, Sanderson's Wooden Bowls, and other businesses have already taken advantage of the program. Make sure to check out incentives up to $9,000 for small commercial buildings and up to $5,000 for residences based from Northern Forest Center.
