Seasonal Driver

1 position in Mad River Valley, 1 position in the Hardwick area

JOB PURPOSE – This position exists to ensure the safety and comfort of our customers by providing topnotch service for emergency and scheduled deliveries. This is a SEASONAL position that would work well with someone holding a summer position with construction, tree trimming, landscaping, etc. We expect the season to be December through March, depending on weather.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Drive to/from customer locations
  2. Work and relate well with internal and external customers
  3. Consistent on-time FT attendance
  4. Excellent communication – verbal, written, cell phone, tablet
  5. Familiar with service areas and able to follow directions
  6. Cleanliness and organization – customer and company property
  7. Available for on-call rotation
  8. Follow good safety practices
  9. Completion of work orders for vehicle maintenance and repairs
  10. Properly interpret tickets, clarify questions prior to delivery
  11. Follow company procedures (collection, delivery, professionalism, etc.)

SKILLS – Comfort with technology (controls, tablets, iPhone, etc.), mechanical aptitude (mechanic experience preferred)

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS- walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach w/hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk; hear; pull up to 150’ 4” hose filled with product, close-distance-color-peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, perform simultaneous tasks

LICENSING / CREDENTIALS - Insurable commercial driver’s license class B or above, Hazmat endorsement, Tanker endorsement, minimum age 21 for insurability, CETP Certifications for LP delivery

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE – minimum field experience to be determined by position

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS – annual review, attainment of annual goals established between supervisor and incumbent

Inventory Accountant

Where: Morrisville Vermont

We are currently seeking an accountant who will focus primarily on parts inventory receiving, inventory reconciliations, and assisting with parts cycle counts. This individual will also serve as a utility player within the parts department and assist with pulling orders and other functions as needed. We are looking for a team player with a can-do attitude who is also interested in taking on additional roles and responsibilities and growing with the Company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Process parts receiving and reconcile between packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices
  2. Assist with maintenance of parts within the CRM system including naming conventions, order quantities, preferred vendors and pricing
  3. Assist with daily and monthly inventory reporting and reconciliation
  4. Assist with warehouse organization and labeling of parts
  5. Learn and become a strong user of all IT systems
  6. Willingness to assist with projects and offer ideas and creative solutions
  7. Assist with the completion of cycle and full inventory counts of trucks, warehouses, and other locations
  8. Punctual regular attendance - 35-40 hours weekly
  9. Above average computer skills
  10. Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to shift responsibilities as needed to support the team
  11. Ability to multi task, prioritize, and deliver a high quality work
  12. Act as a backup for other members of the Parts department and other departments within the Company as needed

SUCCESS FACTORS / JOB COMPETENCIES

SKILLS – Strong in Microsoft Windows and Office with advanced skills in Excel. Keyboarding, ability to use standard office machines (scan/print/copy, adding machine, postage machine, etc.), general accounting skills, excellent communication skills. QuickBooks skills and experience a plus

ABILITIES – Friendly & welcoming, strong work ethic and loyalty, self-driven to complete tasks, good time management and prioritization, able to work within a team, good sense of humor, flexible and accepting of change, honest, able to accurately work on simultaneous tasks

WORK ENVIRONMENT – fast-paced office environment, temperature fluctuations in an older building, some person-to-person customer interactions (internal & external),
