Oil Tank Protection

Heating oil tanks typically corrode from the inside out. Your tank may look perfectly fine from the outside but it could be wearing excessively thin. A test that is similar to a medical ultrasound will allow us to give you a sense of security knowing your tank is fine or advanced warning that there could be a problem on it's way.

The TankSure Program is a visual inspection and ultrasonic test of above ground residential fuel oil storage tanks.  A Bourne's Energy TankSure trained technician will conduct the test which only takes about ten minutes. If your tank qualifies, a certificate of insurance will be issued.

TankSure FAQs

We will check the integrity of your oil tank while we are there for your tune up or scheduled service.

*To qualify your tank must not be in need of immediate replacement.
*The Tanksure program must be renewed annually to maintain warranty coverage.

Here's how it works:

	1. The tank is inspected at the time of the annual tune up or scheduled service.
	2. Multiple test scores are taken and the lowest ultrasonic reading is recorded.
	3. Data is entered into our state-of-the-art data collection database.
	4. Bourne's Energy Monitors readings annually for valuable information about your tank and reports it back to you.
