BOURNE'S ENERGY OPENS NEW OFFICE IN HISTORIC STOREFRONT
Morrisville, VT - Bourne's Energy of Morrisville, a central Vermont family business for more than 60 years, is officially open at its new main office at 72 Lower Main Street in Morrisville.
The new Bourne's office combines modern innovation with historic preservation, according to Peter Bourne, co-owner of Bourne's Energy. "The space we're in has been completely renovated, and includes many upgrades, such as solar water heating, low flush commodes and energy conserving lighting, that make it a more efficient building, but we were careful to retain many of its historic features, too," he notes. Bourne adds that the location and functionality of the new space will enable them to better serve all their customers.
In much the same way, Bourne's is merging its tradition of service and excellence with a new company logo and name. The Bourne's Energy logo represent a step forward in the company's commitment to providing energy solutions to their customers. "We've been delivering fuel oil, propane, and related services for over 60 years, and we've been adding new biofuels and equipment to help people heat their homes and businesses and save money while helping the environment," explains Peter Bourne. "We felt a new logo and changing the name to Bourne's Energy would better describe how we can help our customers meet their energy needs, both now and in the years to come."
Larry Miller, director of sales and marketing for Bourne's Energy, says that it's important to preserve the character and history of the downtown environment. "We're glad that we've been able to locate our office in this location, and we want to help protect the other buildings that make up the downtown district." Miller adds that Bourne's will also be displaying its new community support delivery trucks - the pink Bourne's Propane breast cancer awareness truck will be parked adjacent to the new Bourne's location, as will a new truck - one that promotes support for the United Way. "Bourne's has been actively supporting the central Vermont community for many years, and these new Bourne's trucks show our support while encouraging others to do the same." The new United Way truck will be kicking off a charitable campaign this fall, Miller notes.
Bourne's Energy serves communities in central and northern Vermont with bioheat, propane, plumbing, and a/c. Bourne's provides 24-hour service to its customers. Bourne's is also committed to supporting the people and businesses of Vermont through a variety of charitable and community action initiatives.
