Why Bourne's offices are located in
"The Heart of the Town" - Main Street.

In the general sense, the term "Main Street" refers to a place of traditional values, is the central building block of a community and is pretty much considered the “heart of the town”. With that said, it's by no coincidence that Bourne's Main Street Energy chose to locate all five of it's offices on Main Streets, or as close to it as possible. Why? "Think of real places and people doing real work to preserve and revitalize their town and it's character. It's imperative to keep these traditions in place for building, retaining, sustaining and supporting the local economy. You have all heard the term buy local, well it's because our local economy and people depend and thrive on it." Said owner, Peter Bourne.

Bourne's Energy shows it's "Main Street" responsibility and support by sitting up front and center leading the way as the local fuel provider that looks out for our communities future and economy. Bourne's was established in 1947 from traditional values and has kept these values alive and intact for over 65 years and will continue to do so. The family-owned local business remains successful by incorporating the fundamentals of what it means to be local and a part of the community and knowing when to take the lead and make changes.

"Bourne's leads by recognizing and paying attention to what contributes to the towns self reliance and continual growth. By being and utilizing locally owned, independent businesses, we can strengthen our communities and economy, create more jobs in turn making your community a place you want to be and depend on." Shares Peter Bourne. Bourne's is determined to lead the way by example and has chosen to sell local product, test and incorporate eco-friendly methods into business practices to benefit the future of our communities, all fittingly poised from "Main Street" locations. Bourne's latest future forward lead is the bio-blending facility that will be a big step towards being more locally dependent and providing greener, cleaner fuels for our environment and community.

Bourne's will continued to be lured to "Main Streets" and will represent it's meaning and purpose. We urge you to work, shop, buy, and stay local. We all need to support and work at keeping every community tradition possible alive, our local economy, community and future depends on it.
